Ian Ayler

Pinehurst Director of Racquet Sports: Ian has been teaching for 20+ years in California and Colorado and is a member of the United States Professional Teaching Association. A semi-native of Colorado, Ian won the 5a #1 singles title at Littleton HS in '84. He graduated from the University of Arizona on a full athletic scholarship playing #1 singles and doubles his junior and senior years achieving a top 20 national ranking. After college, Ian joined the ATP tour and reached highs of top 150 in doubles and 300 in singles while competing in tournaments worldwide, including Wimbledon, U.S. Open and the Australian Open.
